Every home is unique, which is why Ample Air never guesses installation prices over the phone. The cost of a new air conditioning system depends on several factors, including the size of your home, ceiling height, whether it is single or double-storey, and the condition of your electrical switchboard.
Generally, highwall split systems are the most budget-friendly option for cooling single rooms or open-plan areas, these are from $2,000 supplied and installed. Fully ducted systems require a larger upfront investment but provide premium, whole-home comfort, these range from $7,500 to upwards of $20,000. Options like smart air conditioning can also add to the cost but save you in running costs. To give you an accurate, no-surprises price, we offer free, no-obligation site visits where our technicians measure your space and provide a fixed written quote.
Since 1982, Ample Air has been delivering the most appropriate and cost-effective heating and cooling solutions to Penrith, the Blue Mountains, and Western Sydney. We are a family-run business that has built a four-decade legacy on trust, technical expertise, and local knowledge. We aren’t a fly-by-night operation or a “box-dropping” retailer; we design systems specifically for your floorplan, insulation, and lifestyle.
We are proud founding members of the Air Conditioning Dealer Association and Arc Tick Certified professionals. When you choose Ample Air, you get the peace of mind knowing we will still be here to honor your warranty and service your system years down the line. Thinking of Air? Remember the Bear!
Upgrading your home’s heating and cooling doesn’t have to break the bank. There are often excellent incentives available, such as the NSW Government’s Energy Savings Scheme (ESS), designed to help reduce the upfront cost of replacing old, inefficient air conditioners with modern, energy-efficient reverse cycle or heat pump systems.
On top of government initiatives, Ample Air frequently partners with top-tier brands like ActronAir, Daikin, and Rinnai to pass on seasonal manufacturer cash-back promotions. Because rebate eligibility depends heavily on your specific location, the age of your current unit, and the new system you choose, the best way to find out what you qualify for is to book a free site assessment. Our team will automatically factor in any eligible rebates when building your quote.
If you are experiencing problems with the operation of the system, you may reset power to the system using the isolator switch located next to your air conditioner’s outdoor unit. Turn the isolator switch off and leave it off. Then try pressing the button to wake the touch screen. The touch screen should be inoperable. After a 5-minute delay, turn the isolator back on and allow approximately 3 minutes for the system to initialise.
If air volume control is applicable, then increase all zones to 100%.
If you have wireless wall sensors ensure the batteries are not low, if the batteries are low a warning will be displayed on your ZONES page.
Check for any fault codes displayed in the SETUP page, if a fault code is shown contact your dealer and advise them of the fault code.
Ensure your MyPlace tablet is up to date with the latest app updates from the Google Play Store.
