The role
This is a full-time, hands-on installation role working across split system and ducted air conditioning, with some travel involved. Day to day, you’ll be delivering quality installs, commissioning systems and making sure every job meets Australian standards and the Ample Air standard.
What you’ll be doing
- Installing split system and ducted air conditioning units across a range of residential and commercial projects
- Running, brazing and pressure-testing pipework
- Evacuating, charging and commissioning systems to manufacturer specifications
- Fault-finding, leak testing and rectifying issues on new and existing systems
- Working to Australian standards and all relevant safety and compliance requirements
- Delivering friendly, professional service and a tidy worksite on every job
- Completing job documentation and compliance paperwork accurately
What you’ll need
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence (RHL)
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or a relevant air conditioning trade qualification)
- General Construction Induction (White Card)
- Proven experience installing split system and/or ducted air conditioning
- Working at Heights and Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect tickets are an advantage
