MyPlace IQ is the brainchild of Advantage Air — an Australian-owned tech company that has been a pioneer in air-conditioning for over 30 years.
Advantage Air started out of a Perth garage in 1990. Today, they have offices around Australia and South Africa — but they're still a family-owned company run by the original founders. Like their brand ambassador Arj Barker, they've been embraced by Australia and are obsessed with tech.
Their aim is to create smart home products that make you smile — almost as much as he does. MyPlace is also the current Principal Partner of the Penrith Panthers, our favourite NRL team, partnered with our favourite smart home system.
